The Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP), Washington, D.C., announced that it published its new Super Bowl Face Off ad in USA Today. The ad portrays Baltimore Ravens’ running back Ray Rice and San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback Colin Kaepernick “fueling up” with milk at breakfast before the big game. The ad also features MilkPEP’s Breakfast Blitz promotion, in which people have a chance to win a breakfast grant for a local school and a trip to next year’s Super Bowl at www.milkmustache.com.

According to MilkPEP, the new print ads continue to build excitement for the program’s first-ever television commercial during the Super Bowl, which will take place on Feb. 3 this year. The 30-second spot starts actor, producer, athlete and author Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and was directed by Peter Berg, an actor, director, writer and producer best known for his on-screen role in Chicago Hope, who just wrapped up production on the film adaptation of “Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10,” a book by Marcus Luttrell with Patrick Robinson. Created by Los Angeles-based Deutsch, A Lowe + Partners Company, the ad will air during the second quarter of the game and bring to life how consuming milk’s protein and essential nutrients at breakfast helps fuel active, successful days.
